You've Accepted a Task—Now What?

Accepting a task is a commitment to complete the work described in the original task posting.

Once you've accepted a task, Favor On-Demand guides you through the remaining steps to help ensure a smooth experience for both you and the Requester.

Good communication and clear expectations are the foundation of every successful task.

Before heading to the task location, take a few moments to review the task again.

Make sure you understand:

• The scope of work 
• The posted budget 
• The task location 
• Any photos or videos provided 
• Special instructions from the Requester 

If anything is unclear, communicate with the Requester before beginning the task.

Use the in-app messaging system to discuss any remaining details.

You may want to confirm:

• Your estimated arrival time 
• Parking or gate access 
• Whether materials are provided 
• Whether tools are required 
• Any questions about the task 

Clear communication helps prevent misunderstandings before work begins.

When you arrive, take a few moments to review the task with the Requester.

Before beginning work, make sure you both agree on:

• The work to be completed 
• The posted budget 
• Materials and tools 
• The expected outcome 
• Any special instructions 

If the task no longer matches the original posting or you're uncomfortable with the requested work, discuss your concerns with the Requester before starting.

Before beginning work, you'll be asked to tap Confirm & Begin Task in the app.

By selecting this option, you're confirming that:

• You understand the scope of work. 
• You agree to complete the original task for the posted budget. 
• You have discussed any important details with the Requester. 
• You're ready to begin the task. 

This confirmation helps ensure both you and the Requester start with the same expectations.

Once work has begun:

• Complete the agreed-upon work professionally. 
• Communicate if questions arise. 
• Respect the Requester's home and property. 
• Leave the work area clean whenever appropriate. 

If the Requester asks for additional work outside the original scope, explain that any new work should be posted as a separate task after the current task has been completed.

After finishing the agreed-upon work, mark the task as complete through the Favor On-Demand app.

The Requester will then have the opportunity to confirm completion.

Once confirmed, your payment will begin processing according to our payment process.

If the Requester would like additional work completed beyond the original scope, they should create a new task with its own description and budget.

If the actual work differs significantly from the original task description, discuss the situation with the Requester before beginning work.

If the task cannot be completed as originally agreed, you may choose not to proceed and follow Favor On-Demand's cancellation process.

The Confirm & Begin Task step helps ensure both you and the Requester understand and agree to the scope of work before any work begins.

By selecting "Confirm & Begin Task," you acknowledge that you have reviewed the task details, understand the scope of work, agree to complete the task for the posted budget, and will perform the work safely and professionally.
