Emergency Situations

5 min readSafety Center

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911.

Favor On-Demand should never be used as a substitute for emergency services.

What to Do in an Emergency

1

Call 911 immediately

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 first. Do not wait. Emergency services are always the first priority.

2

Remove yourself from danger

If it is safe to do so, move to a safe location away from any immediate threat.

3

Contact Favor On-Demand Support

After ensuring your safety, report the incident to Favor On-Demand through the app. Provide as much detail as possible so we can take appropriate action.

4

Document what happened

If it is safe to do so, document any relevant details about the incident, including the time, location, and what occurred. This information may be helpful for both emergency services and Favor On-Demand Support.

Prevention Is the Best Safety

The best way to handle an emergency is to prevent one. Before every task:

Review the task details carefully before accepting.
Communicate with the Requester through the app before arriving.
Only accept tasks you're confident you can complete safely.
Trust your instincts—if something feels wrong, it may be.
Never perform work you believe is unsafe or unlawful.
Report any concerns before they become emergencies.
