Favor On-Demand conducts background checks on Helpers as part of the Helper onboarding and platform safety process. Background checks may be conducted through one or more third-party background screening providers.

1. Consent to Background Check

By registering as a Helper and proceeding through the Helper onboarding process, you authorize Favor On-Demand LLC and its designated third-party background check provider to conduct a background investigation as permitted by applicable law.

2. Information That May Be Used

• Full legal name
• Date of birth
• Current and previous addresses
• Government-issued identification information
• Social Security Number or other identifying information where required or permitted by law
• Other information reasonably necessary to conduct identity verification or background screening

3. Scope of Background Screening

Background checks may include criminal history records, public records searches, identity verification, address history, and other legally permissible screening checks. The specific scope of a background check may vary depending on applicable law, geographic location, and the services offered through the Favor On-Demand platform.

4. Third-Party Screening Providers

Favor On-Demand may rely on third-party providers to conduct background checks and identity verification. These third-party providers may collect and process information in accordance with their own terms, privacy policies, and applicable law.

5. No Guarantee of Accuracy or Future Conduct

Background checks may be incomplete or incorrect and provide no guarantee of future conduct. Favor On-Demand does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of information contained in any background report prepared by a third-party screening provider.

6. Passing a Background Check Is Not an Endorsement

Passing or completing a background check does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee by Favor On-Demand regarding any Helper. Completion of a background check does not guarantee approval to become or remain a Helper on the platform.

7. Helper Approval and Platform Access

Favor On-Demand reserves the right to approve, deny, suspend, deactivate, or terminate Helper access to the platform in accordance with applicable law, the Favor On-Demand Terms and Conditions, and platform safety standards.

8. Ongoing or Additional Background Checks

Favor On-Demand may request or conduct additional or periodic background checks during the time you use the platform as a Helper, where permitted by applicable law. Continued use of the platform may require continued compliance with applicable background screening requirements.

9. Duty to Disclose Relevant Convictions

Helpers agree to promptly disclose to Favor On-Demand in writing any potentially relevant criminal convictions that arise during their use of the Service, other than minor fixed-penalty parking or speeding offenses.

10. Your Rights Regarding Background Reports

If a background report is used in a manner that may affect your eligibility to use the platform, you may have rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and applicable state or local law, including rights relating to notice, access to the report, and disputing inaccurate or incomplete information.

11. Disputing Background Check Information

If you believe information contained in your background report is inaccurate or incomplete, you may dispute the information directly with the background screening provider in accordance with applicable law and the provider’s dispute procedures.

12. Data Privacy

Information collected or processed in connection with background screening and identity verification is handled in accordance with the Favor On-Demand Privacy Policy, applicable law, and the privacy practices of the applicable third-party screening provider.

13. No Employment Relationship

Completion of a background check does not create an employment relationship between Favor On-Demand and any Helper. Helpers remain independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Favor On-Demand.

14. Governing Terms

This Background Check Agreement should be read together with the Favor On-Demand Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between this page and the Favor On-Demand Terms and Conditions, the Terms and Conditions control.
