How the Idea Began
Favor On-Demand began with a simple observation: Every day, people need help completing ordinary tasks, while others in the same community have useful skills, available time, and a desire to earn extra income.
A growing household to-do list. Furniture waiting to be assembled. Yard work that needs attention. An item that needs to be picked up. A project that would be easier with another set of hands.
These needs are common, but finding dependable local help is not always simple. At the same time, many people are looking for flexible opportunities that allow them to use their abilities without committing to a traditional work schedule.
Favor On-Demand was created to bring these people together.
The Everyday Problem We Wanted to Solve

Why Favor On-Demand Was Created
Favor On-Demand was created to make everyday help more accessible while providing people with flexible ways to earn additional income. The idea is simple: Connect people who need help with people who are ready to help.
Requesters can describe the task they need completed, provide helpful details, choose the location and timing, and set the amount they are offering. Helpers can explore available local tasks and independently decide which opportunities match their skills, schedule, and preferred service area.
Favor On-Demand does not guarantee tasks, hours, or earnings. Helpers choose when to use the platform and which tasks they want to consider. Our role is to provide the technology that helps make those local connections possible.
People Helping People
Favor On-Demand is built around more than completing a to-do list. It is about creating connections between people in the same community. A Requester receives help with something that matters to them. A Helper receives an opportunity to use their time and abilities to earn additional income. Both people benefit from a direct, local exchange built around a real need.

Preparing for Beta Testing
Favor On-Demand is preparing to begin limited beta testing in San Francisco and Sacramento. We plan to start with a small group of invited participants who will test the platform in real-world situations and provide honest feedback.
