4 Safety Tips for Helpers
Review the Task Before Accepting
Before accepting any task, carefully review the task description, budget, location, and any photos or videos provided. Only accept tasks that you're confident you can complete safely and successfully. If something seems unclear or unusual, it's better to decline than to accept a task you're not comfortable with.
Confirm the Scope Before Starting
When you arrive at the task location, take a few moments to review the task with the Requester before beginning work. Make sure you both agree on the scope of work, the budget, and any special instructions. If the actual task differs significantly from what was originally posted, discuss the situation with the Requester before starting.
Work Only Within the Agreed Scope
Complete only the work described in the original task posting. If a Requester asks you to perform additional work beyond the original scope, explain that any new work should be posted as a separate task after the current task has been completed. Never agree to perform work that you believe is unsafe, unlawful, or inconsistent with Favor On-Demand's policies.
Report Inappropriate Behavior
If a Requester behaves inappropriately, makes you feel unsafe, or asks you to perform work that violates our policies, you have the right to end the task and report the behavior through the Favor On-Demand app. Your safety and well-being are always the top priority.
